In the continuing tooth loss saga, we are down to the two upper canines. If memory serves me correctly, these are particularly stubborn teeth that often need to be removed surgically when neutering. Those nasty sharp teeth hit my finger twice this morning, the little bastard.

I videoed both Mayzie and Roper last night at the barn. Film and option requests to come. Stay tuned.

I'm off to Lincoln City and maybe beyond. Got to love the coast in weather like this!

Btw, I've been noticing that there is usually a break in the precipitation for 1-2 hours in the afternoon right before the sun goes down. I've been taking serious advantage of this window to work/play with dogs outside. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have noticed the rain break also. We take advantage of it as often as we can. Boss lost all of her baby canines no problem. Beep did not and had to have at least two pulled when he was neutered.

Never had to have a tooth removed surgically and both my puppy boys (and many relatives) have base narrow lower jaws with lower canines that have a tough time coming out. Eri had four lower canines forever but the baby ones just disappeared one day during dinner (yay for raw food!)
